The Opportunity: As a Cloud Security Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and continually enhancing robust security measures across diverse cloud environments, primarily AWS, Azure, and GCP. You’ll collaborate closely with DevOps and development teams, embedding security by design and ensuring compliance in complex multi-cloud ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and deploying secure cloud architectures and security controls.
- Conducting comprehensive security assessments and managing vulnerabilities within cloud infrastructure.
- Architecting and managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions across cloud platforms.
- Ensuring strict adherence to industry best practices and regulatory compliance standards.
- Automating security processes and championing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for security.
- Leading incident response efforts for cloud-related security events.
- Providing expert guidance and fostering a strong security culture within engineering teams.
We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a dedicated Cloud Security Engineering role.
- Deep expertise in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their native security services.
- Strong scripting abilities (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security tools (e.g., Cloudflare, Prisma Cloud, Wiz).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and clear communication skills.
- Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate) are highly advantageous.
